Taylor became a valued member of Tails By The Sea Mobile Pet Salon in September 2024, bringing with her over 15 years of experience in all-breed pet grooming. She began her career as a bather and, through dedication and skill, quickly advanced to a professional groomer.
With a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision, Taylor’s grooming expertise shines in every trim and style she creates. Her scissoring skills are second to none, and her haircuts are nothing short of perfection. Whether she’s working on a playful Poodle or a regal Golden Retriever, Taylor takes pride in delivering beautifully groomed pets that look and feel their best.

Things To Know About Our Business Model
Tails By The Sea Mobile Pet Salon, grooms dogs on a maintenance schedule which means we come to your house on a set schedule every 2, 4, or 6 weeks. To maintain efficient routing, each neighborhood we service has its own designated days of the month we visit. Our busy schedule does not allow us to offer periodic grooming (2 or 3 times a year).
Lets talk about Doodles. Every Doodle is a Mixed breed dog consisting of different breeds. There are hundreds of variations of the Doodle and each one has it’s own coat type. This is a time consuming coat to maintain. Some Doodles actually do shed. Some coats are more straight like a Golden Retriever, and some coats are more thick and curly like a Poodle. Each Doodle has a different coat type and the time spent on grooming will determine the cost. We can give you an estimate, but this is not a “one size/weight fit’s all category”. We love grooming Doodles, they are some of our favorite dogs, but they are a costly coat and if your Doodle is a clients of ours, we do require them to be on a schedule of 6 weeks or less.
Breeds such as Huskies, Shepherd’s, Chow-Chow’s, and other dogs that blow coat 365 days a year, 24 hours a day are not a good fit for our mobile van. We love these breeds of dogs just as much as you do, but imagine putting a dog with that type of coat in our vehicle. The van turns into a snowglobe with the high-velocity dryers, and hair gets into every little nook and crevice not to mention the air conditioning unit. Sorry, these dogs are just not a good fit for us.
